The Flow

One of the biggest lessons that I learned while living in India was that going against “the flow” can sometimes have disastrous and impossible consequences (and doing things “your way”  is not always the only answer). Hence, the title of my blog was born as a constant reminder of this very thing, because every time I went against it, I was abruptly and completely thrown out of it (which was becoming extremely exhausting).

Based on my experience (no matter where I have lived), going with it tends to have much better results … but, if you feel the need to change it up (which is sometimes necessary) trust your intuition, and move forward towards change with good intention, purpose and persistence.

Going with the flow (as I see it) =

Be open to anything, be adaptable, but question things that don’t feel right (and don’t be afraid to change direction). Remember that the best moments don’t always lead where you think, and the worst moments can lead you to a place you never even knew existed. Trust in the good, beauty and underlying harmony in the world. Be happy. Be sad. Be strong. Be vulnerable. Be you.  … and enjoy the ride.
